


How do I become a Member?
There are two ways to become what we call a "facility member", meaning that you have access to the wellness facilities.
1-- stop by any branch of the Metropolitan YMCAs of Mississippi and complete a Membership Application. Be prepare to pay the $50 joining fee along with the 1st months membership fee. The reason you pay the 1st months membership fee is that your bank draft will not being until the following month. Additionally, you will need a VOIDED CHECK in order to set up your membership fee automatic bank draft.
2-- print and complete the membership application below and either mail it in to the branch that will be your "home" branch (the one you will use most often) or stop by that branch to deliver the application. Remember, even when mailing your application you must attach a check for the $50 joining fee and the 1st month's membership fee. A VOIDED CHECK will also need to be attached to the application where indicated.
On your first visit to the YMCA you will receive your membership card and a card for each person over age 15 who is listed on your membership. It is preferred that each member receiving a membership card be present when receiving their card. We photograph each member (this photo is not shared with anyone other than the employee on duty). This photo is used for recognition purposes when your membership card is swiped at the front desk.
Please note on the Membership Fee Information that there are two LEVELS of membership. The difference is the number of facilities to which access is allowed.
