The mission of the Sunkist Swim Team is "to promote excellence in competitive swimming in the Jackson, MS area.  To provide a premier swim team which develops physical fitness and moral character in the youth of the community."

Because of their dedication to this mission the Sunkist Swim Team has had a rich tradition of providing outstanding coaching and swim opportunities to the young people in Jackson. Over the past 30 years many young people have been encouraged to develop their talents, skills and goals by hard work and self- discipline.

The Flowood YMCA is home to the Sunkist Swim Team.
