As we age, it is increasingly important to stay active and exercise regularly. At the Y, older adults can take advantage of exercise programs designed especially for them and benefit from social events ranging from potlucks to group outings and community service opportunities.

The YMCA is proud to find ways to provide opportunities for our senior adult members. More than just a gym membership, we are finding ways to specialize senior classes, health education and social programs that have been shown to help older adults maintain good health, reduce health care costs and lead an active, independent lifestyle.
